
Mavericks: Sport’s Lost Heroes
The Mavericks series comprises of 3 short documentaries by BBC Wales Sport that tells the stories of lost sporting heroes from across Wales. FSF produced the accompanying TV trail for BBC Wales’ Creative Production department. The trail focuses not he first of those docs – Shades: The Life and Times of Chris Hallam, which has been directed by the talented Phil Tibballs.

Dig Ophelia Dig
Kyran Davies is a talented writer and director working in the south Wales film industry and his short film Dig Ophelia Dig was co-produced by Focus Shift Films with Daniel J. Harris working as Executive Producer and our emerging talent Ceri Ann Grail producing.

Giantkillers: The Team That Wouldn’t Die
Giantkillers is a one off documentary marking the 30th anniversary of Newport County going bankrupt and being exiled from their own town. This amazing story charts the County’s demise, winding up and sale, but also their rebirth and journey back to the big time which culminates in a glamour cup tie with English champions Man City. FSF produced the highly successful social media edit that has amassed over 84,000 views on Facebook alone.

Focus Shift Films produced this ambitious short film alongside The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and The University of Gloucestershire. Rachel Tillotson’s futuristic drama is a proof of concept short for a longer format series that Rachel is developing and the project provided opportunities for the talent students of CSSD.

Saving Britain’s Worst Zoo
Working as part of BBC Wales’ Creative Production team Daniel delivered a series of social media videos edited from the show with the aim of engaging an audience online. The videos concentrated on certain story strands from the 3 part TV show to increase visibility for the series online.
