Luke Andrews’ latest short film is written by and starring Stacey Daly. The story captures the feelings of confusion, anger and anxiety brought about by the COVID 19 pandemic and isolating alone. Our lead character, Leah, is trapped in a cycle within her own home and her only link to the outside world is Luke, who she develops a relationship with via video call.
This stylish genre short film written and directed by Pete Rogers tells the story of Kate, a farmer working her family’s remote plot on the shortest day of the year in winter. Living with her is her elderly father who has dementia. As the day wears on Kate has to battle with her father to keep him safe from himself and exterior forces. Shortest Day has been supported by the Isle of Man Arts Council.

The Focus Shift Films Showreel 2019 includes work for Jack Perrett, BBC Wales, BBC Radio Wales, BAFTA Cymru, Into Film, as well as short films The Machine and Disable/Enable. It also features our collaborative work with EatSleep Media on FC Cymru and Sport Wales.
The Top Rope
Focus Shift Films have been commissioned to produce a teaser for a comedy idea by BBC Wales. The Tope Rope is a wrestling mockumentary about one man’s dream to become a professional wrestler. The teaser has begun shooting and will be delivered to BBC Wales soon, with the hope of being commissioned for a pilot and series.
Wales Women’s Euro 2021 Qualifiers
After an amazing rollercoaster ride with Wales Women’s football team the last 2 years Daniel was very proud to produce the Euro 2021 qualifiers TV trail for BBC Wales’ Creative Production department. Using footage from the previous campaign Daniel produced several trails using the #changethegame campaign branding that will be used to promote BBC Wales’ coverage of the first two qualifiers.
