Motor Plus Car Supermarket is one of Wales’ largest used car dealers. The business has relocated a number of times throughout south wales, due to the business out growning its premises. The new showroom at Langland Way, Newport, ( previously the site of Carcraft), has given Motorplus a convenient location, just 3 mins from jct. 24 of the m4 motorway, and also the space to expand into the future. With currently over 350 vehicles on site, and over 180 of those in our indoor showroom, Motorplus can now offer even more choice to car buyers throughout South Wales, the Midlands, and also the south west of England. With stock changing daily you’re guaranteed to find a quality vehicle that suits your needs at a price that also suits your pocket . Their friendly and courteous used car advisors have a wealth of knowledge and experience, and are always on hand to assist or offer advice on your next vehicle purchase.
Project Brief:
Motor Plus needed to find more effective and cost effective ways of marketing themselves to potential car buyers across the UK, making use of social media and the ability to reach audiences via Facebook groups. Motor Plus also wanted to run several quick turnaround high impact Facebook adverts to drive business.
Creative Approach:
- We’ve brought our experience in telling stories and creating personality-led content to the world of used car sales! We’ve worked with Motor Plus to understand more about the business, the people behind it and what sets them apart from their competition – and then shaped fast turnaround, simple but effective content to support that.
- We’ve created various graphics templates for still images that help their content stand out on a busy Facebook news feed – and have brought their USPs to the fore with clear messaging and calls to action.
- Alongside that we’ve developed videos that bring dynamism to simple messages – with walk and talk videos passing through the showroom, and videos showcasing particular cars, their qualities and reasons to buy. These videos have elevated the production value of the brand’s content, stand apart on social media from the content, and bring personality to the content.
- As the world of used car sales is very fast moving we have developed a system for shooting, editing and delivering content that ensures the content is timely, relevant and isn’t time consuming for our team, or the team at Motor Plus.
- We are currently pushing forward with even more content, more story-driven promos and bringing in a presenter to front the content and bring an even more professional feel to everything. FSF has also taken full control of the Motor Plus socials to ensure that the content has the best chance of success.
- We have also managed Facebook adverts for Motor Plus, and not he run up to Christmas saw a huge uplift in the reach of the brand – which in turn led to an increase in sales.
