Project Brief:
We wanted to develop a football podcast that looked ahead at the weekend’s fixtures, debated tactics and brought to life the personalities of the presenters – Earnie, Carlton and our MD Daniel. We wanted to bring the podcasts to audiences from a pub style setting.
Episode 2: In this episode we go preview some of the big games in this weekend’s Premier League as well as reflecting upon England and Wales during the International break. 👀 Reflections upon England v Wales / England v Latvia / Wales v Belgium ⚽️ Liverpool v Man United- full match preview and predictions 🔥 Nottingham Forest v Chelsea- full match preview and predictions 😎 Burnley v Leeds- full match preview and predictions 👣 Carlton and Rob take a trip down memory lane and refection upon their footballing debuts
Creative Approach:
- We wanted to simplify the production and concentrate on the conversation, using a simple set up of one main camera and a smaller top down camera looking at the tactics board.
- In order to shoot and deliver a 30-40 min episode quickly and ensure that the conversations didn’t age we needed that set up and edit process to be simple and fast. The podcast was shot as live – and so minimal editing was required.
